    Hey Kerry,
Thanks for your short videos. They are very helpful.
I’m fairly new to triathlons and I’m not very familiar with all the terminology.
    What is a “brick”?

    thanks

    Kerry,

Thanks so much for your weekly videos! I finished my first sprint in November and now I’m totally hooked on the sport and training with a group to do an Olympic in May. I’ve been running and biking almost everyday, and have been a bit neglectful in the swim. When I do get in the pool I’m aware that this is very different from open water. How often do you do open water swims? Do you go with other people? How do you map your course, what safety measures do you use? etc, how does that all work? You have been very helpful in my training process. Thank You!

    All the best,

    Jasmine (from Cali)

A “brick” is when you workout two disciplines back to back, ie swimming for 30mins followed by an 1 hour bike. helps with practicing the transition and simulating how you may feel on race day amongst other things.
